The St. Albert Food Bank has provided emergency nutritional support to the community since 1984. In 2009, the St. Albert Community Village opened its doors to help address the reasons people need us in the first place.
Our purpose
A hand up, not just a hand-out.
Our purpose is to help disadvantaged residents of our community reach or return to independence, empowerment, personal safety and an improved quality of life.

Executive Director
A strong advocate of collaborating with the St. Albert community, its local businesses and different agencies, Suzan joined the St. Albert Food Bank in 2007.

Community Liaison Social Worker
A registered social worker who joined the St. Albert Community Village in September 2017. Vivian coordinates client access to community-based social agencies and helps individuals in crisis.

We sit at tables with agencies across St. Albert so that the supports around a family actually connect to one another.
Family Working Group
Representatives from local family, youth and child-serving agencies who explore the strengths and challenges of families here, and help plan and deliver strategies that build on those strengths.
Seniors Working Group
Representatives from local senior-serving agencies working to increase the quality of life of St. Albert seniors and make St. Albert a community for all ages.
Outreach Networking Group
Local front-line social workers who meet quarterly to discuss emerging trends and gaps, new or changed resources and procedures, and happenings in social work as they relate to St. Albert.
Friends of St. Albert FCSS
Because we're funded by St. Albert Community and Social Development, we have membership and a voice at the Friends of FCSS table alongside every CSD-funded agency in the city.
